On 18 September, CAVIAR RUSSIA MOSCOW hosted its “Russian” dinner!
This special evening combined vivid culinary experiences with a fascinating historical lecture about Polugar, Russia's legendary grain spirit.
The host and guide to Polugar's history was Ruslan Bragin, an expert on the drink and marketing director of the Rodionov & Sons private distillery.
Immersing guests in the world of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century noble distilling, Ruslan described long feasts, drinking traditions and pairing Polugar with food — accompanied by authentic Russian appetizers and black caviar from bar chef Sergey Gromov.
The “Russian” dinner was Sergey Gromov's first at the caviar bar. Congratulations to Sergey on his impressive culinary debut — guests' reviews certainly confirmed its success!
