On March 1-2, 2018 in Kazan the Union of sturgeons with the support of the Federal Agency for fisheries holds the IV scientific and practical conference Russian sturgeon breeding. The event will discuss the development of state and regional programs of the industry, protection of natural populations and reproduction of sturgeon species, modern methods of obtaining specialized fish feed and feeding technologies, quality assurance and product safety. An important task of the Union of sturgeons is to explain to producers, processors, suppliers and, ultimately – consumers – the legal and other aspects of the legal and illegal turnover of sturgeons and their products. This should significantly reduce the volume of poaching and counterfeit products entering the market and protect against the extermination of sturgeons subjected to ruthless destruction in the wild.
